Rottingdean Arts was formed in 2011 by local resident Dr Roy Wales and has presented an annual programme of arts events in the village, including on the Terraces Stage on the seafront, assisted by his wife, Christine who has been administrator, and a committee of dedicated people. Christine retired in 2022.

Roy has stepped back from the leadership of Rottingdean Arts, but the organisation lives on, albeit under a new Charity structure. He is still involved as Trustee and, as such, has been helping the new committee to set up this year’s programme, which will be launched at the beginning of June. There will be 6 Terraces concerts from June-August and an Autumn Festival from September-November.

Sally Kemp is handling the recruitment of Patrons and Friends who enjoy the benefit of a Priority Booking Period in June for the indoor concerts taking place from September onwards and past Patrons and Friends should have been informed of this. If you would like to become a Patron or Friend, we would be very happy to welcome you.

Patrons pay £50 (£80 couple) and Friends £25 (£35 couple) for the year. Please contact Sally at info@rottingdeanarts.org.uk if you would like further information.

A new website is in production and we urge you to continue to log on to find details of our activities.

Huge thanks are due to Lee Turner, who has looked after the Rottingdean Arts website for us from the start. We are very grateful to him for his voluntary assistance.
